You guys need to learn about making a video… talking BS for 2.5 minutes and screwing in a mirror all this time. How is the title and messing with the mirror relate? Then you show 30 seconds of the actual footage that’s almost useless as well.

You left out the MOTOR and BATTERY and all the other things that’s important if anyone is interested. Who cares about the ‘horn’ and switches!
Really a lousy video and it was a waste of time.

2 and half minutes of waffle… 50 seconds of disappointment… should change the title to “GT-3: fairly quick commercially available mobility scooter”

@old dog, if you want to go 60kms, why not just buy a gas scooter? I own the same scooter and have had mine up to 27kph and that suits me just fine. I wouldnt believe the scooter to be a whole lot safer going any faster than that. So, with that said, have fun and be safe

@tpvalley the knob works like a governor that restricts how fast it can go. Trust me–some people need it. It can go as slow as 3 MPH top speed to 18-22 MPH top speed just by turning it.

    @GoSouthernMD1
why a speed knob when it has a twist grip?
the twist grip should control speed.

i had my electric scooter reach speeds of 60 kms. per hr.almost impossable to controll at that speed.not recommended.canadian legal speed is 32 kms.per.hr.you can get modified moduels to get you speeds of 60 kms per hr. not sure about faster than that.i`m having lots of fun with mine & do not really care what other people say.but when you claim you sell the fastest electric scooter in the world at 20 kms.an hr.i really have to laugh.i`m an old biker & this is no harley, still on the EDGE lmao

18 kms an hour is pretty slow, compared to mine similar scooter which goes 45 kms per an hr.

@WalneyCol Dear Walney. He is an American and is saying that it is available everywhere but not realising that there are any other places than his neighbourhood.
    .
Then he remembers Canada and says that, as though there were no laws at all in Canada.
    .
They need to get out more; maybe you could invite them to the UK and show them the greener grasses.
    .
    Cheers.

@MissClone I think you’re a bit out of date with mobility scooters, I tow trailers regularly with my scooter without problems. I also have a 2 seater childs trailer in which I take my grandchildren.

@ElCid48 People manage to sleep in tents without flinging excreta around in this way

  28. ElCid48

    29. Nov, 2011

No bathroom facilities. Just use a milk jug to urinate, take a crap on a paper towel and throw it all out out on the road, a curbside, a garden, a field, the front steps of anyone. That’s caring for the environment!
And who cares if you don’t take baths except when it rains (if it rains)?
    Get real, people!

    29. Nov, 2011

Very cool, you should consider making one that can be towed by scooters, for traveling and camping purposes. Loving the 60’s throw back, really nice.

    @MissClone Dear gayclone,
You are quite wrong, my mobility scooter towed a Jaguar Mark 4 car chassi once.
    .
It was a four mile an hour scooter.
    .
It’s a shame the world is so small for you.
    .
    Cheers.

@MissClone Don’t forget that mobility scooters are rated to carry someone weighing up to around 23 stone – that’s a considerable amount of torque and easily enough to pull this caravan, which we designed and built over the last 6 month. You are right when you say that tiny caravans were built in the 1950’s, although I’d be surprised if any were quite this small.

  35. MissClone

    29. Nov, 2011

This is a fake advert, a mobility scooter could not tow shit

Its just an old 1950’s caravan. I saw one being pulled by a bubble car at a vintage rally last year

    >Implying energy=carbon

  38. fluxusreadymade

    29. Nov, 2011

Entirely carbon neutral? Impossible. I see plastic components as well as the caravan being towed by an electric scooter. That battery had to be charged somehow.

    Get real!

  39. ETAservices

    29. Nov, 2011

Thanks for the all the interest. We are currently taking orders for the QTvan. We can alter the design and specification to match a customer’s specific requirements. For example, one person has asked for a drop-top version so he can tow his grandkids to the mall.
